Marc Reid attended an HIV awareness and fundraising event at the Bill Holt Clinic at Phoenix Children’s Hospital this month, in association with his company, Emeritus.
The clinic provides comprehensive care for children who have been exposed to or infected with HIV. The Bill Holt HIV Clinic’s team of trained specialists offers services such as specialized medical care, nutritional support, child life services and psychosocial support. Marc, along with other attendees, were able to listen in on seminars pertaining to the clinic’s overall services and goals to further their patient care. Aside from patient medical services, the Bill Holt Clinic offers vital support groups with fun activities for children and adolescents.
Members of the clinic work tirelessly to provide care and services for children and teens in need. This is an incredibly important cause in the Phoenix community, and we were happy to offer support.
Here are several resources for more information regarding philanthropic work of Emeritus and Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
With 20 years of experience in charity work, Marc Reid is passionate about helping others to succeed in their own charitable arenas, and that’s why he created Emeritus – a one-on-one consultation to assist any organization in planning a perfect charity event.
The Bill Holt clinic is the number one comprehensive pediatric clinic for children and adolescents exposed to or infected with HIV in Arizona. Along with specialized medical care, the clinic provides activities for summer camps, perinatal consultations for mothers with HIV, and support groups for children and teens as well as their parents.
The Phoenix Children’s Hospital “provides inpatient, outpatient, trauma and emergency care across more than 70 pediatric subspecialties, the most comprehensive pediatric care available in the state.” The hospital employs a staff of almost 1,000 pediatric specialists in their six Centers of Excellence.
